Our heroes set forth from Mulberry to continue their quest to find the Blue-Eyed Witch. Vengeance needed to be satisfied. On the path to Perci, the heroes were surrounded by outcroppings and came across a destroyed caravan. Upon inspection, they discovered that the three halfling bodies looked out of place. They seemed to be put there.as bait.

Quickly acting, they investigated the area. In the distance, drums boomed across the plains. A goblin caravan was coming straight for them. Retreating away from the caravan, they came across another group of goblins that Rowan had deduced was part of a pinscher manuever. Their only option was the forest.

Dashing quickly into the forest, the adventurers rushed haphazardly, stopping at a river. In their first combat of the series, they were met with will-o-the-wisp like creatures, the liuxes. These creatures shift colors depending on what action they’re going to take. It was a quick fight fought with cunning and divine smites. Only a few surprises when the liuxes exploded upon death.

One fight down and closer to their goal, the team continued their path deeper into the forest.
