Unlikely companions forced together by the goddess of death, Tianee. Our heroes spent their first night together. It is a long one for the forlorn, vengeance-fueled Antiven. By the light of Rowan’s lantern, he buried his wife and children.

After being awoken from his slumber, Fenrir slipped out of his bedroll in the middle of the night but only saw the two sharing a voiceless somber moment. Confused by a once-dead man now standing and digging, Fenrir’s skepticism poured over as he tried to determine how dangerous their not-so-alive/undead/dead ally of opportunity was. If this was who he would have to venture with to satisfy death’s request.

The next morning, our heroes investigate the remains of the town. The unsettling nature of seeing a non-scavenged husk of its former self ate at them. Something was happening here, and it was likely related to the red lights at night. Our heroes waited until the sun rose to investigate. Renthru was dead and something was keeping it that way.

Throughout their investigation, they find no one left. At night, the team discovered that Tianee has unleashed Death Collectors to reclaim some of the lost souls. These entities ignored our heroes.

With an empty town, our heroes set out to Mulberry to gather information for the fall of Renthru.
